About Me
Hello, I’m Ella Townsend! I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of creativity and storytelling, whether it’s through fashion, design, or experiences that connect with people. Growing up, I loved exploring style, experimenting with outfits, and thinking about how design could make everyday moments feel special. That curiosity naturally led me to pursue a degree in Fashion Merchandising and eventually a career where I could blend creativity with strategy.
I have gained leadership and strategic experience in a variety of roles, including serving as Vice President of Marketing for my sorority, where I led rebranding initiatives and digital campaigns that increased engagement by over 30%. I also worked as Merchandising Manager for Couture à la Cart, The University of Georgia’s Retail Entrepreneurship initiative, where I oversaw product selection, team collaboration, and visual merchandising.
As Assistant Store Manager at Cheeky Peach Boutique, I managed inventory, visual merchandising, and a sales team while creating personalized customer experiences both in-store and online. Most recently, as the Retail Strategy & Integration Intern at Disney Consumer Products, I lead cross-category merchandise strategies and support merchandise development for major theatrical releases and park initiatives, building operational tools and storytelling resources to align cross-functional teams from ideation to execution.
I’m excited to continue building on these experiences and applying my expertise to future opportunities where creativity, strategy, and customer experience intersect.
